DGIST ICE 이정협 교수와 아룹 연구원이 연구 개발한 반도체 IC (Integrated Circuit)가 2018년 1월에 열린 CAD (Computer Aided Design) 분야 권위있는 학회인 IEEE/ACM ASP-DAC (Asia and South Pacific-Design Automation Conference)의 LSI 디자인 콘테스트에서 대상을 수상하였다. 
이번 디자인 콘테스트에서는 이 분야 전문가 심사를 거쳐 27개의 IC디자인들이 1차로 선정되었으며, 최종적으로 발표와 현장 심사를 통해 MIT팀과 함께 대상의 영예를 안았다.​

Best award for Junghyup Lee and Arup George from DGIST at the LSI design contest of IEEE/ACM ASP-DAC.

A semiconductor IC developed by Junghyup Lee and Arup George won the best award at the LSI design contest held at the IEEE/ACM ASP-DAC (Asia and South Pacific-Design Automation Conference), a prestigious conference in the field of computer aided design (CAD) in January 2018. 

In this design contest, 27 designs were selected from the initial submissions after peer-review. After the final stage on-site presentation, the design from DGIST gained the highest honours, along with a design from MIT.
